Our 2nd annual marketplace is fast approaching, and we could not be more excited!!!
Last year, along with live music, food trucks, cookie decorating for the kids, local businesses, and pictures with Santa(of course), we raised over $1300.00 for Lighthouse for Grieving Children. We had two families in the community come out after the event and pick up a fully decorated Christmas tree, and take home any food and toys they needed.This year, we are working with Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre. https://opnc.ca/
And our goal is to raise $2000.00, for two families in the community and help them out this holiday season. The families will receive two fully decorated Christmas trees and take home any food and toys that they need. They will also be receiving Christmas dinner!We welcome you to come out and join us with your family, on Sunday, November 24th, from 11 am -3 pm, for our 2nd annual Marketplace. Enjoy live music, food, coffee, silent auction and raffle table! Start our Christmas shopping off in our marketplace with;
Just to name a few… 🙂
This will also be the kick-off to our annual food and toy drive in support of Oakville Food Share Food Bank and the Oakville Firefighters Toy Drive.
We would like to thank our event sponsors;
If you are not able to join in the fun that day but would like to donate to Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre you can do so here;
Many families struggle to afford the basics during the holiday season, as a community we would like to come together to make Christmas for these families a little more magical this year.
We would like to ensure that more families have the ability to wake up to the magic of Christmas morning!
The Massage Clinic Health Centres is donating two Christmas Trees to families in our community this year. We would like to ask families and friends joining us at the Open House Event to contribute decorations for the donation trees to make these Christmas trees just as spectacular as the trees we will have in our own homes this holiday season.
Help us make this holiday season a magical one to remember for a few more families in our community.
